Friday my squad learned about unreached people groups. Later that day the women went to a conference where they talked about going out to unreached people groups. Once we got home from the conference we watched secret church where they talked about unreached people groups. Secret Church only meets once a year and by the grace of God it was Friday. This was not a coincidence. Not only is 3 a biblical number but talk about the Lord trying to tell you something. Stoking the fire in our hearts for the Middle East.
Did you know that there are 17,000 ish people groups and only 7,000 ish have been told about the gospel? That’s only 41% of our planet that has heard about the gospel. Crazy. Well folks no need to fret because I have 30 friends who are on fire and passionate about going out into the unknown to share God’s love. Even in the midst of danger. Even in the unknown. We’re all ready. We’re all willing. We’re patiently waiting for the Lord to tell us where we’re going next, eagerly waiting to see where we travel to after Costa Rica. We were not planning on staying in Central America; shoot we didn’t even have Central America in our minds when we signed up for this. The Lord is prepping us and I can feel it and see it throughout our squad. We are all abandoning our pre race lives, leaving what we desire and want. In the midst of abandonment, we are being broken. Broken from chains and the weight of sin and ways of this world. This leads us into dependence. We depend on the Lord even in the unknown.
In our preparation to go out and do what the Lord has called us to do we were able to pray over the unreached people groups. It’s heartbreaking to know how many people have not heard the name of Jesus. This list is LONG. Like go up the stairs and wrap around rooms long.
We know the Lord is moving. He’s moving in the Middle East. Radical things are happening and the Lord is preparing us. My squad is expectant to reach the unreached. We know He is going to make a way.
I ask you to pray my squad Pray for the father to send more people to unreached groups. Pray confidently. Our prayers effect how God acts in the World and we are trying to tell EVERYONE about the Gospel before God comes back. Pray for the spread of God’s word. The Lord is opening places back up from Covid, He’s opening people’s heart and we are expectant He will do big things this year.

Jesus, thank you for Abbey and her squad. Thank you for calling them and using them. Thank you for bending their hearts toward you and the people still lost. Keep opening the doors and use them in mighty ways. Jesus, work! Jesus, move! Jesus, help! In Jesus name, Amen
