Hi team!

Here is a very quick update. I want to start off with apologizing for not posting as much as I should and wanted to. But here I am, IN GUATEMALA! Truthfully it has not sunk in that I’m here. I thought my emotions would be all over the place and as much as I have been overwhelmed, God has given me peace far beyond understanding.

Last night was absolutely incredible and a moment I will never forget. I was able to reflect on a rooftop with amazing people. I laid under the stars while watching a active volcano spurt (it’s an actual term so you can look that up). I’m just with my people and it feels SO good. With that and the other side of everything I am beginning to realize that this is a life changing trip, that I am going to be able to process and experience healing on a whole other level. There has been so many thoughts running through my head and normally I would have a breakdown or would stay in an emotional state. But God has been so kind in giving me peace, hope, and so much excitement for the next 11 months.

I will be posting more content with pictures so make sure to keep an eye out for that. Also follow my Instagram abbey_spiker for even more pictures and quicker updates! I cannot thank everyone enough for your support and prayers!
