Okay imagine this...you have a bag full of chocolate cookies. You’re standing in the middle of what feels like 200 children. These kiddos are pushing and grabbing just to get a cookie. Hungry for it and will do anything to grab it from you. Even if it means pushing you down(lovingly). As my team was helping with kids ministry, I had this moment happen to me. It was slightly overwhelming, some would say chaotic, but it was also so fun! I feel like the Lord’s love for us is similar. He WANTS us. He desires us so deeply, God’s willing to do anything to get you(or that cookie). Even if that means pushing down whatever is holding onto to you like sin(or myself). It can feel somewhat overwhelming but it’s also exciting!

Okay now picture this... just kidding I have new pictures to show you. YAY! We were able to go to a village a few hours away and minister to some sweet kiddos. This village was hit hard by a mudslide and many of them lost their homes. My team put together food and cleaning supply bags. Before we went to the village and prepare the food bags, we also worked on children’s ministry. We prepared a skit and coloring pages for them to work on.

After we did the skit, about Daniel and the lions den, we handed out coloring pages. I loved watching my team interact with the kids. Encouraging them with their coloring and joyfully sitting with them.

My team was also able to meet their and other members of the community. It was sweet laughing and joking around with them. Trying to ask for their names, even though they didn’t speak Spanish or English. Still being able to show them the pictures of themselves.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support! I am still short $500 to stay on the field so if you feel lead to give you can do so via the website or my Venmo!
